Beagle Freedom Project’s DC7 is a group of fosters and adopters who brought home 7 beagles from a rescue in Maryland in July 2013. You may remember seeing stories of the DC7 after these 7 beagles, named after our Founding Fathers, were released. They had all spent their whole lives in research labs and had never walked on grass, marked a fire hydrant or played in a park! They are now living all around the East Coast, including 2 of them right here in DC. If you attended Red, White & Beagle the last two years, we think you’ll notice continuous progress over the years.
